This page is for my personal work in progress. From here you can see some of the work I am doing at the moment. Not all of the images on this page will be in the final selection of any given project but I will upload as many images as possible for people to see.

The Eyemouth Project (A portfolio of a working harbour and it's people)
I am in the process of producing a photo documentary on the fishermen of Eyemouth and all associated businesses in and around the harbour. This will be a year long project in which I intend to photograph many of the original fishing families still working within the harbour including the fishing industries that support it on dry land. I'm also hoping to photograph some of the retired fisherman still living within the area.
I'm not here to show anyone in a bad light but to give an honest view of how it really is within the fishing industry in Eyemouth. Therefore, I need to know how people are really feeling about the future of the industry, the way in which it has changed over the years and how people think it will be in the future. Then I can produce a ' warts and all ' documentary
This is being produced with a view to publishing the final work and also to hold an exhibition at my gallery at 10a Church Street at the end of 2009. A copy of the finished article will also be donated to the museum.
I do hope you will all get involved with this project and hopefully it will become something of interest to everyone.

THANK YOU
It's half way through the year and this project is going well. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me so far, also all the other businesses who have agreed to let me photograph them for the project, as promised I will get to you.
I'm now looking for retired fishermen who would be kind enough to let me have some of their time to record a selection of their stories and past experiences, If anyone has family who can help please contact me, The last thing I want when I have finished the project is to have missed someone out.
I'm also looking for a couple of skippers who would let me come onboard. To really give this project punch I need to be at sea to shoot the real work.
Please remember I am going to produce a book about this and donate it to the Eyemouth Museum so please, if you can come forward, your assistance will be much appreicated.
Thanks
Kevin
