Photographic Courses

Introduction to Digital Photography

Skill Level: Beginner (1 day course)

I offer individual photographic tuition and also courses for groups of up to 8 people

"Basic Photography  for Beginners"

This course is for people who are new to photography and want to

learn how to take a good photograph. You must have a DSLR  (digital
single lens reflex) camera of at least 5 maga pixels. The reason for this is
because there are so many different types of cameras that its impossible to
know how to work every one and besides if your serious about learning
photography you really should have a camera to a certain specification

The day will consist of:-

09.30 - 10.00 An introduction to get to know each other over tea and
coffee.

10.00 - 11.30  A quick run through on your cameras, a discussion on basic
exposure / depth of field / focus / composition etc. There will be
photographic examples of everything so there is nothing to worry about.

11.30 - 1.00 A walk around the harbour and town (weather permitting)
This is where you get the chance to put into practice what you have
learned from the discussion.

13.00 - 14.00 Working Lunch.  A chance to relax, refuel and chat.

14.00 - 16.00 This is where we get to look at your results and to assess your
images on the computer followed by questions and answers

There are only 8 places per course so it's first come first served. There will
also be further advanced courses and location courses to be announced.

All course fees are £80.00 for the day

We have the right to cancel courses if they are under subscribed and we will, of course, refund your money.

If the course is over subscribed we will contact you with an alternative
date.
